FAQ

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship all over the world.

How do you package the items?

In a strong cardboard box with bubble wrap and tissue paper.

How long does it take to make a figurine?

Approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

What are the figurines made out of?

Borosilicate glass.

How big are they?

Height (including base):12cm (approx.)
Base: 7cm x 9cm (however we do have other bases to choose from, depending on the dog)

The height of each dog varies due to the handmade nature of the product.

If I ordered one today, how long would it take to arrive?

This varies depending on where you live in the world and when you place your order.
Our busiest time is between November through to March, when the average waiting time is:

UK – 2 weeks
Europe – 2 to 3 weeks
Australia – 3 weeks
NZ – 3 weeks
Canada – 3 weeks
USA – 3 to 4 weeks

Outside of this period, waiting times are shorter – usually by a couple of days.

Yes. All our parcels are tracked.

How are they made?

Each dog is individually sculpted out of molten glass. No moulds are used, meaning that each dog is unique and no two are ever the same.

How much do the figurines cost?

All single figurines cost £76.50. Double figurines (where there are 2 on a base) cost £90.50.

I can’t see the dog I want – does that mean you don’t make it?

We’re still in the process of documenting all of the various breeds we make, so if you can’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to contact us about it – chances are it’s something we just haven’t got round to photographing yet!

Are there any breeds you can’t make?

We wish we could make all dogs, but unfortunately some breeds are just too difficult to sculpt in hot glass. Some of the dogs we can’t make are: Havanese, Yorkshire Terriers, Shih Tzu, Chow Chow, Old English Sheepdog, Tibetan Terrier, Afghan Hound.

Do you take bespoke commissions?

This depends on the quality of your images. We can only work from high quality, side on photographs. We can’t use images of dogs that are lying down, playing, or taken from the front (i.e. head on). If you think you have a high quality side on photograph of your dog, then you are welcome to share it with us. We will then view the image and let you know if it’s something we can work with. While we always do our best to represent your dog as accurately as possible, we cannot make exact replicas of any animal due to the nature of the material.

Is there are charge for bespoke commissions?

Yes, bespoke commissions cost an additional £20 per dog.

Do you offer an engraving service?

Unfortunately we don’t have the right kind of equipment to provide this service, but lots of our customers source their own engravers after purchasing their order.

Can I order a dog without the glass base?

Yes. The paperweight base provides added stability, but if you would rather not have this, you are welcome to order one without.
